The outer HDPE or PP layer provides superior strength and surface finish, while the EVOH barrier layer inside creates an oxygen and moisture barrier, significantly extending product shelf life. A regrind or food-grade middle layer between the two allows not only high material efficiency but also provides a means of sustainable production, as failed part offcuts can be fed back into the process without diluting quality.
